Go Facebook! Over the weekend, Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes married his partner Sean Eldridge in a ceremony after dating since 2005! Both men are intelligent and respected in their own right, so this is great news! Congrats!

And even cooler is that with the official Facebook announcement of their marriage, Facebook premiered it’s new same-sex marriage icons featuring two grooms or two brides! Facebook rocks! Facebook has always been supportive of the LGBTQ community, with relationship status’ such as ‘in a civil partnership’. I am elated for the men and for Facebook! I cant wait to get married and change my status! (Although I have a few years, hahaha!)

I hope all those idiots who boycotted Oreo for supporting LGBTQ Pride month with a picture of a rainbow Oreo find out about this and suck it! Hopefully they will boycott Facebook too now that they’re ignorant selves will know that FB is gay-friendly and was created by a gay man in part!
