The New York International Fringe Festival (www.fringenyc.org) is the largest multi-arts festival in North America, with more than 200 companies from all over the world performing for 16 days in more than 20 venues. Some great shows have made it from Fringe to Broadway, including The Drowsy Chaperon (Toronto Fringe)!

One of the most anticipated events of NYC Fringe this year is the show GRIMM – a haunting new musical written by Kenny Kruper. It tells the tale of twin sisters and rivals vying for a crown in this funky fairy tale. GRIMM features familiar characters created by the Brothers Grimm, from Hansel and Gretel to the wily Rumpelstiltskin, entwined with a new cast of ghostly characters who spin chilling new twists on fairy-tale classics. And who here doesn’t love fairy’s and girl fights?!

The shows Writer, Composer, Music Director and all around wonder-guy is none other than Kenny Kruper of  Long Island indie band The Free Candy Band! Mr. Kruper turns out tunes that will have you begging for more. Plus, he’s totally cute!
